Winnie Mooney

Mrs. Winnie Mooney, 81, of Elberton, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. She was born in Elbert County on July 5, 1932 to the late Jessie and Louise Hammond Davis. She is the widow of the late Albert M. Mooney, Sr. Left to cherish her memories is her son: Albert Mooney, Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen; and a daughter: Priscilla Yoffe and her husband Stewart; seven grandchildren: Brean, Nick, Charlie, Daniel, Nicole, Corey and Casey; and two great-grandchildren: Evan and Clayton. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a companion Frank Smith. Graveside services celebrating her life were held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Elberton, Georgia.
